Mix Media & Collage Making / Sunday July 29th @ 12:30pm

Meet us at our studio in the MANY 2.0 building
52 Adelaide St, Fremantle
12:30 - 2:30pm

Collage is a technique used by creatives the world over and involves cutting, pasting and assembling a wide range of materials to create a new and individual work. It’s a fantastic way to give castaway printed materials a second life, bringing the past forward in a fun and creative way.

This workshop is perfect for anyone who wants to learn about the wonders of collage and it requires no preparation or art/design know-how.

What we do:
During the workshop you will get free reign of our workshop tables to cut, paste scribble, paint and stamp your way to your very own collage. We will help you along the way with tips and tricks when sourcing material and gluing your compositions.

Once you are all finished and happy with your collage we will run your design through our specialty Risograph printer; a printing method known for its rich vibrant colour and incredibly tactile aesthetic.

Collage works incredibly well with Risograph printing and will take your artwork to the next level, making it super vibrant and unique. We will give you an edition of 10 prints of your collage on our fine art paper; meaning you can hang one on your wall, give another to a friend and have plenty left over to turn into future collages.

What to bring:
Our workshop tables are stacked full of collage material, pens, markers, pencils and heaps of other art supplies, meaning you can come empty handed to any of our classes! However, if you have any photos, drawings, or other materials you would like to use you should definitely bring them, though we do suggest you bring photocopies of anything you don't want to be cutting and gluing.

What you'll leave with:
At the end of the workshop you will leave with 10 copies of the collage you created in class, printed in Risograph as well as your original collage, test prints and a burning desire to collage everything you own.

This workshop runs for approximately 2 hours and is designed for adults or children over the age of 12.
