Riso Fun-damentals / Sunday December 23rd @ 10:30am

Meet us at our studio in the MANY 2.0 building
52 Adelaide St, Fremantle
10:30am - 1:30pm

What we do:
This workshop will show you fundamentals of printing with Riso and gives you a well rounded overview of the different ways Riso can be used to create interesting tones and textures. Over the course of the workshop you will be exploring different mark making and collage techniques to explore the way in which Riso interprets and prints.

The aim of this workshop is to create 4 unique A5 artworks each using a different mark making or collage technique (ie. Photo collage, illustration, drawing, painting, ink or paper collage).

What to bring:
This workshop will be using collage and mark making to create four unique two-colour A5 prints. Our workshopping tables are full of materials to make your posters with so you can come empty handed to any of our classes! However, if you have any drawings, writings, photos or materials you would like to use you should definitely bring them, though we do suggest you bring photocopies of anything you don't want to be cutting and gluing. You only get an hour or so to create your four mini-prints so if you have a bit of a think beforehand about what you'd like to create it can make the classes much more rewarding.

What you'll leave with:
At the end of the workshop you will leave with four individual A5, two colour prints each with an edition of 10 prints (40, A5 prints in total), as well as test prints and our Neighbourhood Press goodie bag.

This workshop is approximately 3 hours long and is designed for adults or children over the age of 12.
