Returns & Shipping

At Neighbourhood Press, we stand behind the quality of our products and want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, we will gladly accept returns within 30 days of the purchase date.

  • To request and start a return or cancellation, please contact us by sending an email to howdy@neighbourhoodpress.net within the 14 days of delivery and ensure to ship items back to us within 30 days of delivery. You can also request a cancellation of your order, provided that we receive a notification by email within 24 hours of purchase.

 Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

    Neighbourhood Press will not be held accountable for returns and exchanges. It is the buyer's responsibility to cover shipping costs for returns and exchanges, unless otherwise agreed. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

    To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Any returned items will be refunded immediately minus the cost of the initial postage fee.

    Any faulty items must be returned to us before a replacement or refund is provided. If you do send items back then please use a secure postage method, so that you can trace where the package is. The item is your responsibility until we receive it. A note on exchanges; the fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have. Once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

    It's important to note that all our printed products are printed in small batches. Our Risograph printer can only print one colour at a time and the Riso printing method often produces quirks, such as misregistration, uneven coverage and a beautiful grainy quality. These quirks are what give Riso prints their unique aesthetic and makes every Riso print slightly different to the next. We cannot always guarantee that any ordered items will be as pictured on our website. We do our best to photograph and present our products digitally for you to browse them as accurately as possible. The Risograph's spot colours cannot be replicated on screen (especially the fluorescent inks) so please keep this in mind when purchasing items. Please email us if you have questions about a particular item, and we will be more than happy to help.

  • Please inspect your order upon arrival and contact Neighbourhood Press within 14 days of receipt if the item is defective, damaged or if you received the wrong item, so that one of our team can evaluate the issue and make it right.

  • Certain types of items cannot be returned or refunded, these include custom print orders. It is the customer’s responsibility to read our full terms and conditions, in addition to any and all relevant Risograph print guides and file set-up instructions prior to proceeding with a custom print order. Neighbourhood Press will not be held responsible for any technical, editorial or design errors that may be present in your print ready file(s). Such errors include but are not limited to;

    • Grammatical and spelling errors

    • Low-resolution images

    • Incorrect colour matching/profiling created by the client, for example colours printing lighter or darker than anticipated due to file setup.

    • Wrongly specified printing options, sizes, colours/inks, finishing options, quantity etc.

    • Design errors, such as underestimated sizing, typeface choice, margin placements, incorrect bleed, image orientation, incorrect photography edits, line weight etc.

    • Delivery delays due to client’s slow responses, incorrect file setup, delays in file submission or postal delays.

    Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards. Please get in touch by emailing howdy@neighbourhoodpress.net if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

  • Neighbourhood Press will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and deposit the refund.

  • 
Neighbourhood Press needs time to prepare an order for shipping. This time will vary for each order, but will normally be within 1-3 business days. The customer will be notified once the item has been shipped or if it is ready for collection.

    Please note that processing times will differ for custom print orders. If you order custom prints online, one of the friendly Neighbourhood Press team will be in contact via email to liaise deadline and project timelines.

    Neighbourhood Press will do its best to meet these shipping estimates, but can't guarantee them. Actual delivery time will depend on the shipping method you choose.

  • Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. Neighbourhood Press is not responsible for delays due to customs or COVID-19 restrictions.
